Can't equip talisman

I have a character that cannot equip a talisman, any talisman.
No idea why.
She had one, one day I logged in and it dropped into my pack from paper doll, saw it do that. Could not reequip it, or any other talisman.
I think I've had almost the same problem with this character before being unable to equip a weapon.

That's odd, it's like if it thinks it's still equipped but it's not.

Just for fun, try to uninsure it (you can still see it in your pack right?) and die somewhere safe and then res and see if you can then equip another one.

Maybe setting a hotkey in Razor to undress all would fix it. Are there any bonuses on it like STR that you could use [aosprops to check if they are still being applied to your character.

Talismans are blessed not insured.
Died, no change.
No luck with Dress/Undress agent.

Hahaha.
Ok, so. I died, re-equipped, killed a couple things, tried to re-equip it again, no luck.
Went through gate to Luna, came and posted last post, went back to UO, talisman is equipped.
Ghosts man, ghosts.

So ofc, I took it off to see if I could equip a different talisman, ofc I cannot.
And ofc I can not re-equip the one I just took off.

Going through a moongate makes this talisman reappear on my paperdoll.
It's a 97 luck tally. Adds up on status whether it shows equipped or not.
Seems like its not UNequipping no matter what even when it looks like it. Which prevents me from equipping anything else.

Fun side note. I put tally on ground in Umbra, went to Luna was still on paperdoll.
Went back to Umbra, it was still on ground and disappeared from paperdoll.
When I got closer to it though it disappeared from the ground and was back on paperdoll.
Oh, and this is fun, I tried to repeat this Umbra experiment and dropped in on the ground further from moongate. It appeared on ground in old spot where I dropped it before, definitely out of reach from where I was.
If I go over and pick that one up I can put it in my pack and then drop it somewhere else. Still cannot equip it. This is crazy.

Dropped it on ground further from Umbra gate, Sacred Journey to Luna, no talisman. Go through gate back to Umbra, no talisman. Take 2 steps, it's back on paperdoll. lol

Are you using a different client version by chance? This almost reminds me of the kind of stuff that was going on with the latest client, though with that client it would usually just crash more than anything.

Wow, I think I have a good fix for the taly issue. Red should rename it a "cursed" talisman. You cannot remove it once equipped. You would have a one of a kind rare item!

Haha. Might possible be client version yes. But no other char has had this problem with tally or any other item.
I'm using 7.0.24.5
A bit higher than recommended I think but not terribly new either
