Yeah I don't really know what's going on. I've even advertised on Google a few times.

Agree entirely. I think it's numerous factors causing it but I think the main cause comes down to not enough advertising and appeal as well as the low player count upon logging in. Both would need to be addressed with solutions found in order to pick things up. Promotions could work as well as other offers.shakyj wrote:I think really we have to figure why new players aren't joining/staying? Red might be able to give some insight to if they just aren't coming or aren't staying?

What's the solution then? If there are accounts being made but they aren't staying then maybe people can leave their chars logged on in luna to increase players. Plus give new players something like their first char gets a crappy LRC suit, some skill gains and extra money?

Also are historic pages viewable? If people log on and page a GM then no GMs or even seers on is a bad thing? Is there a script that will send the page to a web ui that the GMs or even some players can answer?

A page system is something we've thought of. Given we both work all day it's hard to be in game, but if pages would go to a web based system then we could still check from work from time to time. Though rather than reinvent the wheel I'm also thinking of just redirecting to the forum and they can post and either other players can help, or if it's something that specifically requires a GM, then we can help. I like to encourage everyone who plays to join the forum anyway, as this is where events and other important info is posted.
