Mining gloves

Do they spawn as rewards for the smithing quests on here?
If so does anyone have a spare pair i could buy?
Its getting tedious spending time gathering ore only to lose half of it when you smelt it......
I know it doesnt make a huge difference in smelting success chance, but anything is better than nothing....

O, and merry christmas to you all and thanks for the hard work involved in keeping the server active and to all of you who have helped me along the way......

Ive not managed to get a pair yet from the quests...infact all ive managed is a few checks, a ton of bods, and a couple of runics.....
Managed a few ecru for you though

The failure rate for Valorite is absurd......it takes forever and a day to collect enough ore to hand 1 quest in and you lose almost 50% of the damn things when smelting them.......
I dont mind a bit of loss but the RNG for smelting is off the scale......
Things like this that make me lose interest in stuff....
you lose nothing when cutting boards
you lose nothing when cutting leather
you lose 50%+ when smelting valorite......

Managed to get myself a pair of +20 leather mining gloves with a 950 valorite quest...
