Imbuing
If it does get added, it's not coming any time soon. We still have lot of catching up to do with ML first. TBH, I don't know if I even want SA here. I rather branch off to enhance what we have and add more custom stuff. One thing I do want to add is the new boat system though.

The masterpiece system is a bare bones version of imbuing for weapons. Imbuing has a few added rules and a skill attached to it to determine success.
Imbuing has done a lot to the game, allowing suits and weapons to be custom tailored with the 'limitation' of not being able to be fortified and having a max of 5 properties and a cap of 450/500 intensity on the mods.
Is imbuing a bad idea? In my opinion, it isn't all that bad as it recycles a lot of useless 'loot' in game and allows players to build pieces that they specifically need in their suit, making more artifact and equipment choices viable to make up for strange resistances or mismatched properties (*cough* mischief maker).
What it failed to do is add a significant drawback that would allow looted items and crafted items to still be viable. Imbuing trumps anything looted purely on the basis that you can just imbue the item you want that would have rarely been found as loot.
Craft still competes in a sense because you can surpass imbuing's property intensity cap of 450/500 with a strong runic tool. However, as crafting is a complete roll of the dice it's not as favorable as imbuing's use of loaded dice.
It's likely that we will have imbuing in some form or another. We do have the masterpiece system which can slowly turn into imbuing based on similarities but most likely imbuing on AOV will need to have a vote on which direction players would like to take it.

imho, imbuing takes UO's cheaty system and cheats back in your favor a bit.
Would be a welcome system.
As many times enhancing has told me to go F myself I'd welcome imbuing with open arms.

While it is always disappointing when an item breaks while trying to enhance, it makes it exciting when you finally enhance a godly piece of armor. I forsee imbuing taking away from that a bit.ggkthx wrote:imho, imbuing takes UO's cheaty system and cheats back in your favor a bit.
