Wow. My sister and father have both brought dozens of those eggs back from Germany before and they never had any trouble getting through customs. They are a blast too...

Yeah I used to love them as a kid. It was more the concept of wondering what was inside then the toy itself. They were more or less collectibles, actually. The chocolate also tasted good.
I doubt these will be a problem in Canada. I'm sure California will also say that they are known to cause cancer and birth defects, too.

I absolutely love those toys. I always loved the ones that had like a million pieces because you knew it was going to be some epic toy in the end (Like the wind up cars and stuff). I always frowned when I got one of those pre-assembled figurines or cardboard puzzles.
Kind of sucks that they got banned in that area. To me, that's a silly thing to just go and ban, I mean you'd think parental guidance would trump that but apparently not.

Better start hoarding those Kinder eggs, and be careful. They might institute fireman companies that will come and burn your house down if you are suspected of harboring one.
