Mage NPC's not selling mark scrolls?

When I went on today a new person asked me if you can get mark scrolls other then from chests and corpses and i said he can buy them from npc's and make them with inscription skill, and when i went to buy a mark scroll from the mage npc in luna the npc had only the scrolls clumsy through to weaken! Do you think you could re supply them with all the scrolls thanks you.

Couldn't you just get a full spell book from luna bank , get an inscriptionist and make mark scrolls from there?

Yes i know, but i was just wondering why the mage wasnt selling all the scrolls. Can be puzzling for new people like the one i was helping, btw i gave him one of the full spellbooks so his problems solved now.

As far as i'm concerned they've never sold mark scrolls in luna , before i had a scribe I just bought stuff in Vesper tbh.

Just went to the Trinsic mage shop and they only sell the scrolls clumsy to wall of stone. I went to some others as well and they only sell clumsy to wall of stone as well.

Then I would just imagine that they'll either be left alone seeing as how you can get a full spellbook , or they'll be restocked when Red or Death has thee oppurtunity , until then I would just leave it be.

Mage NPCs only sell low level scrolls. It has always been this way. I believe the max level scrolls that are sold are levels 1-3. The mages at the very north of moonglow may sell up to level 5, so check there (At the very tip of verity isle, north north of the city of moonglow).

Mark, being a level 6 spell, cannot be purchased by NPC merchants. You must obtain the scroll off mid-high level spellcasting monsters or get a proficient scribe to make you a scroll.
