The Lost Lands

Post by Ashriel »

Hi All!

So, I was on my tamer, and tried to look for some frenzied ostards.. burning 2 hours of my time to find out that the forests of the lost lands (felucca and trammel) are empty O_O there are no creatures at all (I saw a horse though.. LOL!), could anyone explain..? thanks!

I believe there are some ostards near kahldum entrance. I'm pretty sure I remember spawning all of T2A, but if I recall it was large area random spawners, in addition to some smaller area ones too, so you do have to search. It's most likely not as per OSI. Spawns are something that will be improved in the future as there are still some overspawned and underspawned areas. We like to also try to keep things somewhat random and not too predictable but depends on area, some are more predictable then others as far as location/creatures.

I think I may be to blame on that one, as I had started working on completely revising T2A's trammel spawners and had only gotten around to creating kos heb's spawners. That means the rest of t2a is pretty much void. Not being a highly popular area, kinda forgot about it and nobody brought it up!

Red can add a spawner for them later on, as they are one of the few creatures that only spawn in the lost lands. The desert area is an appropriate place for them.

In most shards the ostards spawn just outside of Delucia.

Could have sworn I had added those in the tokuno islands when I redid them but they do belong in the lost lands as well.
