Are all the items that can be obtained by treasure hunting coded so that they spawn in chests (randomly of course) for example: Brac of night eyes, necklace of protection, body sash of agility, wooden shield of str. and def. just to name a few

Those are quite old items from an earlier day of UO. I'm pretty sure the only thing that still drops are the wands. That being said, I don't see a reason why these can't be converted to the new age of ultima.Dirk wrote:Are all the items that can be obtained by treasure hunting coded so that they spawn in chests (randomly of course) for example: Brac of night eyes, necklace of protection, body sash of agility, wooden shield of str. and def. just to name a few
Currently, there are a few "special" items that can be rare finds in treasure chests such as hooded shrouds and luck necklaces. More items can be added to the "rare" drop to make things interesting. Some of the items mentioned are really old (such as items with vanquishing or hardening on them, a system which is no longer used). Those items could still be converted.

some added drops like skill gain deeds, pet deeds, etc. would be cool. Adding a another map to the chest would be nice say level 4 and up chests only. Just some ideas to make it alittle more gratifying.

Skill gain deeds will eventually be converted to Scrolls of Transcendence, which are dropped while doing champion spawns in both trammel and felucca (felucca drops better ones). There are also UOSA implementations that drop SOTs so provided there aren't already enough drops we can add them in. We could add in scrolls of alacrity that can sometimes be found, which boosts your skill gain for 15 minutes as well as there's no drop for those on OSI but they exist from previous turn in events.Dirk wrote:some added drops like skill gain deeds, pet deeds, etc. would be cool. Pet bonding deeds are donation so they would have to be rare enough to find if we did put them in. Still, there's quite a few good ideas for increasing the dungeon chest loot in the future.
