Not resetting, in what way? Is he spawned and lost somewhere?

when i challenge the idol nothing happens he may be lost yes. I did not find him.

Coon is spawned somewhere. Looks like you have an easy one, just need to find him.

I did not move him, but I had a bit of fun with this one...
