Tryin to get back in the game, redownloading UO client....

Will Stygian Abyss work? I'm not entirely sure what would be best to get, like should I just get ML? And whats with this Kingdom Reborn crap? (I say crap but I have no idea what it is hah)

Thanks Filth, you were very helpful. I just got on my OSI account for the first time in like years since I got that 14 day free trial crap for Kingdom Reborn/Sygianwhateverthefuck and wow UO... really? You think making your 3d even crappier and changing a bunch of core basics is going to make people buy into you again? I laugh at thee.

AOV only supports the classic client so the UOKR and UOSA clients will not work. The classic UOSA client should work however don't jump the gun and patch up to the latest quite yet as AOV needs to work it out to support the newest patch (UOSA content and additions aren't compatible with AOV at the moment, but will be once red is available to fix it up.)

TC1 actually has the fix for newer clients, so it's just the thing of deploying it, but doing that involves deploying all the SQL code too, which is not quite ready.

Ahh, I see. Well I uninstalled everything that was UO and just reinstalled ML, I'm patched up to 6.0.1.3 (patch 50) and its still not working. I get inside the shard and I'm able to pick my character and everything but then nothing loads after my character goes on screen. Apparently my character Captain Kryptus is signed in at Luna bank right now, am I even viewable to others? If I wait a bit, after a while the character selection screen pops up along with the "My UO + Account + Credits + Help" links to the left of the screen. The characters slots are all filled up but their names are just weirdly accented letters and theres a 6 in one of them too. My actual character is still in the background of all this as well. When I click on a selection it asks me for an account name and password, I tried pressing enter with no password and it says "Entering Brittania" but it just stays there. I havn't kept it open long enough for anything to happen but I did let it sit for about 10 minutes and nothing happened.

Thats pretty much all the info I have to offer

After about 10 minutes of letting it sit at that character selection screen the npcs around Luna bank started moving, still can't see any names or my status bar though
