Luck from Honoring your foe? Does improve arti chance ?

as per title. I know this will get me burned but i score perfection and it doesnt change my arti chance

It's a secondary value as it's only invoked during the state where you honor your opponent. It might not be showing up in the artifact chance formula, we'd have to check that part.

Luck from honoring is supposed to improve your artifact chance for the monster you've gained perfection in. It will not, however, exceed the luck cap.

I checked and it doesnt improve your chance when you honour. So I guess it must be gettin skipped in the calculation.

It would also depend on numerous different factors as not all artifact systems follow the same kind of rules. Calculations can be based on creature fame, artifact drop system and whether or not you've reached a percent maximum.

Which artifacts were you looking to obtain in particular that you noticed no increase? Also, what's your natural luck (Check your in game status display next to the clover).

Didnt give any increase solo'ing in gaunt - no Minor Arti increase - No ML arti increase no 10th aniversary increase. heh' (10th aniversary it doesnt affect anyways i know)

base luck will be a minor part as the honor system overrides the luck base that a player currently has to a specific number. The luck a person has does not necessarily increase the arty drop chance. Its a modifier but, being the arty chance is a specific formula, you can have max luck and still have something like 500+ kills in gaunt before a single arty is dropped. The same goes with any of the artifact systems. The specific chance listed with the [artchance command is the base chance calculated. This viewed chance does not display other specific modifiers that are allotted.

Ive said this 100s of times ingame and on this forum. If you want it, you WONT get it, its when your looking for something else, that you will be awarded something you wanted or needed months earlier. Such is luck, and a persons IRL luck has ALOT to do with it, which can not be changed by something coded into the game.

I know for a fact that the artifact chance dispay differs based on wearable luck for demitels. I bet demitels calculate chance very differently from the other systems though. It would be interesting to kill a demitel with honor and without to see if there is a difference in the displayed artifact chance.

I don't think the honor luck is actually calculated. The way RunUO did it which is stupid is that honor luck and item luck are two different things. In fact, the gold (gold items) luck is seperate too. So there are 3 different values to check for luck and demitels only check the item luck.

This will be fixed with the new property system.

I just scored a robe of the eclipse.
Its 95 luck increase all my ML Artifact chance a bit.
I then equiped a golden 140 luck warfork to see what that would do. my ML arti chance didnt not increase. lol
I even took off the robe of the eclipse at the same time to see if i had maxed the ml arti chance
