10th anniversary artifacts won't drop

Hi!

As I like AoV I was very tired some days ago because I hunted all the week in Despise (Trammel) to get my first artifact. I switched [artychance on and so saw how my chance for a 10th anniversary artifact keeps increasing until it was about 4,xx%.

Then I got a message that a 10th anniversary artifact has dropped in my backpack and my [artychance counter reseted to 0.

I was very shocked when I realised that no artifact was dropped neither in my bag or in any monster I killed past minutes (and no I searched long and particular!!!).

Please fix this bug it can be very sad for a newcomer lol

Did You Check your bank some times your backpack can be to full and it will send to bank box

Which character was it on? I have two guesses. It either went to your bank or your client isn't patched and thus, the special itemIDs are not visible by yourself.

unless im mistaken, if your client is not the current release, then you will recieve the item, but will not be able to view is as the grapihc or item id is not registered in your client. Updating the client will fix this and the item will become visible.

And yes, check your bankbox. Some items like the itot "chest of heirlooms" will rarely drop in your pack because it is heavy. So if your pack was at its weight cap, then the item would revert to the bankbox 8)

That's exactly what happens. You will receive the item but you will not see it in your bag because the client cannot locate the ID of said item. A staff member will be able to check for you, as they use the most recent patches.

My my client is 6.0.1.10 - shouldn't this be new enough? I didn't find anything in the bank box but will look again now. My character name is "Meatboy".

No, 6.0.12.3 is the latest so you're quite a few patches behind what the shard is running. In comparison, the last patch you have is dated August 6, 2007. In order to see the items, you need patch 6.0.3.0 at least but AOV recommends the latest patch to avoid client related issues such as new items/mobiles and map changes (Such as the extra bridge in despise).
