We went out in search for the Khaldun explorers. They were supposed to return 4 nights ago and now we are getting worried. We know it is a long journey to the tombs of khaldun, but even so, it should not be taking this long. I have taken a group of fighters with me just in case. I have also brought along Merric Durstrung. Merric is a good friend of mine and an expert swordsman from Skara Brae. His fighting skills will come in handy if we encounter anything unusual.....

It has been 2 days now. We stopped to spend the night at the Delucia Inn. I am finding it rather peaceful here in the straw huts. We should reach the Khaldun site by tomorrow afternoon. The moon is full, so if we need to travel at night we will be able to find our way. I don't like travelling at night however. The people of Delucia say the hills have eyes at night and that the most foul creatures lurk about. Talks of ophidians, vile silver serpants and even the undead were mentionned. I should get some sleep now; we have a big day ahead of us.....

We have reached Khaldun and I can see tents in the distance. The camp site is around the corner, but it looks deserted. There are no fires burning and it looks as though nobody has been around for a few days. I hope this means that the explorers simply couldn't be pulled away from their work in the tombs rather than a bad omen. I will report back later in the day.....

Oh God, what have we done?! We've unleashed evil into the world. We should have never entered that hole in Khaldun. Who knows what evils will lurks the grounds now that we've opened it. I must let everyone know about these new evils. I owe it to Merric and the souls who risked their lives.....

Actually, the sentence is set up into a simple sentence format. Putting the word "Besides" represents it is a complex, or a compound complex sentence. Since "Beside the grammar errors" in a subordinating phrase (since it doesn't contain a subject and predicate), it's a simple sentence. Henceforth, it should be changed to "Even though there are/Even though the grammar errors" or something to that effect.

Also, Mark, it's "grammar" instead of "grammer".
