I love guns. Over the years I have had my hands on quite a few of them.

My fav gun: Browning Buckmark .22 bull barrel. That thing is a little tack driver, extremely reliable blowback action. Its heavy for a 22 pistol and has an upgraded trigger. You almost don't even have to aim with it, just point and it hits what you want.

Home defense: Glock 17, iridium night sights, extended mag, remington golden sabre +p+ handloads. Its only a 9mm, but it will put a hole in somn. I have had it 9 years, only needed it once, and never had to show it to anyone. Hopefully I will never need to use it, but always be able to have it.

Least fav gun: Either my mini-14 or my AR-15. The mini wouldn't shoot a 5 rd clip without jamming. I think there was somn wrong with the tolerances in the rifle. The AR was awkward to aim and had an annoying BOING sound from the spring when you fired it. For a gun that looked that cool, it was pretty boring. The little bullets just put little holes in stuff.

Favorite Deer and Moose hunting rifle: Sako 7mm mag, Leupold Gold ring Scope, 150 grain nosler bullets with about 72 grains of powder in each bullet. Silver casings too :D

Favorite Playing around and varmint gun: Savage arms .17 HMR, heavy barrell, walnut thumbhole stock, and a bushnell trophy scope.

Facorite Compound Bow: Hoyt ultrasport, limbsaver silencers, gold tip arrows and points, Trophy ridge drop-zone rest, Trophy ridge sights, String leeches string silencers, hoyt brand bow silencers, and a super nock, with a tru ball stinger release.

Thats just my favorites.... :D

Sako is a good rifle. Lots of people like bolt actions. I prefer semi auto but might invest in a good lever action. What I really wanted was this Spencer rifle repro model. But it was $1500, thats a lot of money for iron sights and far inferior balistics. It would have looked cool though.

My favorite gun is my family heirloom 16 gauge winchester. Its a bitch to find 16 gauge ammo for anymore (At least around IL), but I have a pretty healthy closet full of various shot sizes and rifled and nonrifled slugs (Even have like 12 boxes of military issue AP slugs and like 20 boxes of military issue Fletchette rounds for it.) You should see what fletchette rounds do to squirrels, its hillarious. Hell a 16 gauge AP slug in a rabbit or squirrel it something sick too.

I have my .50 Deagle with my custom grip, silencer, and extened clip (Holds 15 rounds, which is a ton for a .50, standard is if I remeber right 8 or 10) for home defense. I also have 40 to 60 sharp implements made with the express purpose of killing things around my house too (Literally anywhere I am in my house I have a deadly weapon within reach of me).

Oh I also have an old sawed off remmington double barrel 10 gauge. 2 barrels of pain. That thing blows holes in things/people with dual AP slugs or fletchette rounds in it.

I'm thinking aobut getting one of those new .50 cal sniper rifles that just came out before they are made illegal in the state of IL.

a friend of mine has a 50BMG rifle. Its a big gun, he works for Blackwater.

But, if you want the biggest rifles ever made, you could search for bore or guage rifles. With your access to a machine shop, it wouldnt be a problem to fabricate shell casings for those monsters. Imagine a bad guy staring down a gun barrel thats 2 1/5" in diameter.

Or do some research on my personal favorite cartridge, the A-Square .577 Tyrannosaur. Thats a lot cooler than 50bmg, and you could use it for big game hunting without worrying about any DNR hassle. I am sure if they caught someone out in the woods with a 50BMG, that day of hunting would be over.

they had a recall on some bolt action slug rifles. i think it was savages though. Bad stuff, the bolt would blow back into the person's face.

That would suck if you're defending yourself against a robber lol.

You die, robber just continues looting, leaves.
