I have made several lumberjacking runs and just wanted to post the results here. I know that this is a relativly small view (6,5 hours) for a calculation of real drop chances, but I will post it anyway
The Results: (Summed up all runs)
Lumberjacking Skill: 100
Race: Elf
Farm areas: Trammel / around Yew
Time: approx. 6 hours 30 minutes (several runs, counted together)
(All amounts are boards, for logs just x/2)
Normal Wood: 27720 (80,07%)
Oak: 3400 (9,82%)
Ash: 1600 (4,62%)
Yew: 840 (2,43%)
Bloodwood: 760 (2,20%)
Heartwood: 220 (0,64%)
Frostwood: 80 (0,23%)
--------------
Total: 34620 (100%) (17310 logs)
Bark Fragment: 159
Luminescent Fungi: 27
Switch: 31
Parasitic Plant: 10
Brilliant Amber: 12
Famous last words
One thing in the end from my personal view. Please reduce the weight from logs and/or boards. I couldn't count how often I had to recall.
And the harvest at all isnt really pleasing. If I had used the 6,5 hours for farming monsters I would have made much more money compared to this, but I love all gathering professions in UO so much, that I would love to see a little tweaking here. (Same goes for mining), not just the drop chance, but also the total amounts.
Some smaller farming runs in fel showed that you get there about 75% more logs in the same time, the last 25% are lost due to more recalling/storing.
best regards,
P.S.: If anyone has an idea what I should do with this massive amount of ordinary wood, please let me know.
