I say factions as they're already implemented. Factions there's 4 different groups + your own special faction colors which make them unique. It's easier and better to just expand on the system as is. With Chaos and Order, factions would pretty much just get pushed aside.

The devs will ultimately decide whether or not the faction system gets any special perks besides the ability to pvp anywhere. Although some kind of rank/rewards system is a hot idea, it's not something to take lightely.

Tossing a bunch of new artifacts/special items in the game according to ranks can be abused so before that's even put into the game, we would have to consider all kinds of scenarios.

I'm against any type of pvp prize system as its too easy to abuse using multiple accounts etc... I can only safeguard to a certain extent (IP checking etc).

We have tons of items already on this shard so not adding a whole new system. Any new items created will most likely be added in either AoA, peerless recipes or donation system (depending on the item).

Though O/C is something that could possibly be done in future, but not any time soon.
