carp. quest question

First let me say hello. I just started on this shard this past week. Lots of new stuff that I have never seen before. I've spent most of my UO life on the Demise shard but they never seem to add any content so I am trying AoV out. So far I like everything I have seen.
Anyway,
I was trying out the different crafting quests with my crafter. I wanted to try the carpentry quest (something the don't have on Demise). My skill is at 100 so I tried all the hard stuff I could find and the bag never turned blue. I tried to find a way to resign the quest and dropped the blue bag on the ground. Now I'm thinking this was a big mistake, I can't accept any new quests and I can't complete the old one. I did a search but couldn't find any info. Could someone please tell me what I need to do from here?

i think red or death can get you another bag. If it was a good guest, something with 200+ colored boards, I would try to stay with that quest. If it was just a regular board quest, you can single click on your guy and you will get a menu that has the cancel quest option on it.

As for what to make, you will have to play around and try some stuff. Once you get the right thing, then its easy. Take off any +carpentry talismans, that will make it easier to craft stuff that the bag will accept.

I can't think of what I make for carpentry, perhaps try bokutos. For bow quests I make regular bows. Smith quests I think I make plate gloves.
