Can not heal pets

I tried to search the forums for this but came up empty. I have tried to heal my pet with magery as well as with Vet but i get a message telling me that I can not perform benifical acts on the target..... I am not in a guild but i did try to have my pet guard me. And today I was partied up with someone and I tried to heal my party member and it told me the same thing. Is there something i'm doing wrong or is it a bug?

perhaps a mistargeted last target or you just happened to hit the wrong mob in the tram rule facet.

no i made sure it was my pet i was targeting and i am not useing a last target macro... i do it old style

Yeah I never managed to figure out this one, it only affects a few people here and there. Its messed.

But to rule out the obvious, where were you when you tried? We can see if it might be a region issue.

It has happened in Illishnar and in the japanes lands and in Luna.

Well it happaned again with my Alt character. i was trying to heal my party member both with Chivelry and bandies.

Well it seems that if you are in "Young" status you can not heal pets of party members. I dropped my young status and can now heal my pets.... But thank you to all who tried to help me figure it out

Ya, young status has quite a few exceptions (Like not being able to transfer pets to young players) and stuff.
