Q: Mining in Ilshenar

How can I go about getting Gargoyle Pickaxes here? Killing gargs or does doing the BS quests give them as reward?

If I were to mine in Ilsh with a Gargoyle Pickaxe, would I have a chance at spawning a Paragon Ore Elemental? (unlike Demise and the other 'OSI' shards)

Unrelated to mining... I haven't seen any Paragon chests as of yet. Do they spawn?

You can get them from killing certain gargoyles. the blacksmith quests or the regular bulk order deeds can get you some gargoyle pickaxes as well.

As for the paragon ore elemental summoning in ilshenar, if it didn't happen on demise, the tool likely has a condition preventing it from being a paragon. If it does, I see no reason why it should and I am in favor of being able to spawn paragon ore elementals. After all, if you're a miner, chances are you're going to be like "Oh crap" if that valorite elemental breaks out of the ground with a gold hue.

Paragon chests do spawn; I have several. Paragon daemons seem to give a decent haul of paragon chests. Ettins and blood elementals also drop em.

I'm really eager to see if they will spawn. With our AI a paragon Vally would be a real beast. I doubt any of my chars could take him out.

Yeah they can spawn as paragon from the ground, I changed this a while back when adding the animations.
