My ISP blocks outgoing ICMP packets so I can't test this myself.

If any of you can send outgoing ICMP try to ping these IPs:

67.19.158.242
67.19.158.243

Let me know what you get.

Also try a traceroute and post it. It should time out at the very end.

I'm one of those security paranoid freaks, so I block EVERYTHING, then unblock what I *really* need.

I REALLY hope my idea works out for the shard, since this setup is getting more and more good in terms of security.
