Actually we're not using Stratics for formulas (and never really have with RunUO) which is why RunUO is so damn good. We always do our own testing and digging to get any formulas right and gather the necessary data. This isnt something we just pick up off stratics and code. It's just a reference point that I can use to do some data gathering.

Haha and funny part is demise forums is STILL down. I mean come on, it does not take a rocket scientist to restore a SQL backup and turn maintenance mode off on the forum. soraged.com and connectuo.com are in the same boat.

They had this happen before a long time ago when I first started demise. They recovered a lot quicker last time though.

Wouldn't surprise me if they end up doing the same thing we have been doing as far as research (Locate numerous credible sources for matches/formulaes and implement it as best we could) instead of them actually getting some researchers on OSI.

Actually yeah I remember. Was the actual shard server (this time its just the web server) but same idea. Web server should be even easier to recover from. Slap in two new drives, rebuild the raid, restore from backups.

lol they're finally back up but bet they have to totally redo the forum template now because they went to update. And vb forum templates are a PITA to make. They have to do runuo.com one as well lol. Don't fix if it aint broke!
