Four years

I can hardly believe that tomorrow will be my four-year anniversary of joining this forum. Then for a while, I was joining others until there were about ten that I checked regularly, but most of them were rather small and some don't even exist anymore. I became a moderator at three of them, but two of those have diappeared from the web and the other one, Black Elephant, hasn't had a new post for months. Ycontrol's forum is still in existence, but there isn't much activity there. Right now I post at a forum for alumni of my Bible college, a listserve made up of some people from that college, the Christian forum that is linked in my sig, and I've been visiting back here a bit more often.

I can't believe how fast time has gone myself, I've been part of this forum for a loonnng time, I lost track of the years. In fact I joined this forum:

Well, you were online on Feb. 5, 2003, which is the earliest screenshot that archive.com has for the Anything Forums.

lol what was that first forum we met at? Was way before even AF time. There was DDO forums, but there was like 2 others before that I think. We had a nice community going then (even though it was underground illegal stuff it was still fun).

I thought it was DDO, but I think there was a forum called phatboard or something like that before DDO. When that started tanking everyone started moving to DDO. But I went from DDO to Iceteks to AF, so that might be what you are thinking about. I actually started coming to AF because Iceteks was down at the time.

Anything Forum years must be like dog years then, only longer, say 11 1/2 years each. That would make me 46. Hey, that's right, I am 46.

But that would make flowergirl 24 years old. She wishes.

Yeah, she's okay. The younger kids hog the computer more than she does.

And it's her four year anniversary here in just a few days.

Nothing is random. He liked to stir crap up every now and then (not an inherently bad thing), but through it all, we was a big fake and liar, which we didn't discover until after he was banned here. He pretended to live in Scotland but he was really just another sad little stateside punkass.

I looked around for an old thread of mine to resurrect and picked this one. Now it's been almost 9 years since I joined here. I really haven't added any new forums or list-serves since the ones I mentioned in my opening post, and I no longer post at my college alumni forum. There is an annual fee to keep that forum open and no one posts often enough to be willing to pay the fee. I do check Facebook every day, and I don't think I did that when I started this thread. Oh, I just remembered. I check a religious forum called Sharper Iron every day, but I only post there once in a while.

Wow, actually another discovery I made recently while looking at old posts from Iceteks. That site is now over 10 years old. I was in high school around that time. Crazy how time flies.
