Worst sixth grade year ever

Post by flowergirlajg »

Okay... well. Where do i start.
A couple months before school let out, i had known these girls, (best to remain confidential so false names) Hannah, Kimberly, and Jessica.

Kimberly was an eighth grader, Hannah was a sixth, and Jessica was another eighth. So one day, I go over to our stairwell where we usually hang out in the mornings. everybody's there, Hannah, kimberly, Jessica, myself, and Robo. So, here's Kimberly, stone drunk, falling around all over the place. Robo is sitting with Jessica and talking with Hannah about whatever, like this is normal. I am profusely shocked, I mean iv'e never witnessed anybody drunk at school, so I am slightly scared that she'll get hurt. and... The bell rings, nobody notices me, the intruder, though I used to be very close with them all. I am upset through the day, escaping to the bathroom in between periods to cry and only just making it to class in time.

The next day, the same thing unfoulds except that this time, kimberly and hannah, a sixth grader, are both drunk! A sixth grader and an eighth grader, friends of mine, drunk. Drunk! I smell it everywhere, i smell it evern when it's not near. The smell disgusts me, and I go through the ordinary day much the same as yesterday.

The third day the same scene on the stairwell and finally I crack in first period, and am sent to the principal's office but I skip class to get away from that because i am so scared to tell, so horrified at the thought that I would tell the secret, it would break my honor and yet I know I have to. I go to third period and this retarded kid pokes fun at me, at my eyes and how ugly I am and I scrape the bottom of the barrel and start screaming at him, striking him and to this day he never pissed me off again. And this time I leave the class, in the middle of the class and just go to the office and i am taken in to the office and after thirty minuites of refusing to give names i just break again and tell. I am sent to fifth period where I am forced to sit in front of hannah, who senses my fear and tries to talk to me and i refuse, and can you imagine how hellish that was...

And finally.
I leave early. and hannah is given a suspension. I saved her rat a** too. I told that kimberly was the main offender. She was expelled. My parents yell at me for not telling sooner and telling them instead of the administration when robo was there all along and I was the only one that told. Me. The sixth grader. The little girl that cries. 'Freckleface'. 'emo'. So.
That episode cost me.
And when hannah came back. She still sat behind me. Breathing on me. Whispering in my ear. tormenting me. Following me. We had to make groups for an activity. and there she was behind me. Idiot. She blames me for the whole experience. "You could have died" I say.
"Why didn't you let me?"
"because I care."
"no you don't"
"I was hurt too you know"
"does it look like I give a sh*t?"

The end.

Worst sixth grade year ever

6 grade and doing alcohol? wow what his this world come to. Seriously, they need to make discipline legal again. The reason kids are so bad these days is that its practically impossible to discipline without the fear of the law getting involved for "abuse" and all that crap. I say knock the sense into any child who does drugs or anything of that sort. Heck even teachers need to be given more rights to discipline.

last I heard even spanking is illegal now. It's retarded.

Yeah, that is kinda funked up. I mean not only getting stone drunk at that age, but stone drunk before school? That's just plain stupid. If you want to do you're little teen rebellion thing, at least be a little intelligent about it. Quite honestly I'm surprised you had to rat them out and the teachers couldn't figure it out on their own.

Now I'm not you, and I don't really know these girls, but if I was in that situation with my friends I would have either gone off on them for being idiots, or wrote them off entirely, at least until they got some sense into them, but that's me.

I tried but man, it was like the world on my shoulders and I basically, like i said, cracked. It was insane... i am like so scared all the tiem now, because the older girl was in a gang... And yes. I agree- what has the world come to? And I still have to deal with hannah every day... I try as hard as I can.

Sorry to hear about your experience flowergirl. Only have 'speaking" to you in 'type' you exhibit a maturity beyond your years.

manadren is correect, the teachers and the principle have wronged you. There was enough to 'Act' on without involving you further.

Your difficulties are normal, you have nothing to fear. Everyone at some point must decide for themselves between right and wrong. No one can tell you "how you should have acted" as the circumstances and choices were yours, and not there's. It is what is called "armchair anaylist" reading into a situation and developing an opinion without the actual experience, and threat of consequence.

You had initially resisted from what I have read, there was or stil is a conflict in you. Your parents (and maybe yourself) are asking, "why didn't you speak sooner" - this unfortuantley is the wrong question,

the only question is, 'should you have spooken' there is only one asnwer to this, and that is "yes"

when you speak is irrelivant.

Sixth grade sucks for most people I think. Be glad it's over.

Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time.

scherzo--
thanks for your input, and yes that is mostly what I beleive myself. I think it is greatly unfair that I, in the eyes of many, have done wrong. I truly dont see how its my fault.
