Not a fun day.

Worked as a escivator today. 13 hours, one 30 minute break. Non stop digging. Had to dig even holes around the pool where the water pipes went after I had to put dirt under and ontop of them but they had to be at a even level. Then I had to find the main waterline. Trick was we didnt know how far it would be under, ended up digging up 9ft of soil and had to jackhammer 3ft of concrete.

Bonus thing that I got was a heat rash.

Yeah so my day pretty much sucked. I took a shower, passed out when I got home. Now im awake at 3 and I get to go and finish putting some tubbing in in 2 hours. Yay...

working long hours like that sucks. Get home, you hardly have time for yourself, then a new day starts after. I find even a regular 8 hour job does that to you, so I can imagine 13. I remember working 10 hour shifts as janitor when I was still student, long boring days.

In general, as humans we have no life. Wake up rediculously early (anything earlyer then 10pm is rediculous for me

) go to work, get home, eat, have a couple hours for yourself, go to bed, cycle continues. Life on earth is so dull when you think about it. I like my job, but just speaking in general here some people have jobs they hate but are stuck with them.

Raise... dunno. But I am going on a little vacation. Going to Minn to see a friend that ive known since I was 3 1/2 - 4 years old

Yeah and I agree with you Red. Working such long shifts that I just go home, shower then head back out to work. Usually I dont even eat breakfest

Sounds kind of like my job. 12 hours shifts 3 or 4 days a week. Add in commute time or any meetings off shift and yes, I totally see where you're coming from. Eat, sleep, work is the name of the game.

Yeah, and I get to look foward to this for the next 50-60 years... fun. Atleast im getting a good pay. 11.80$ per hour since I usually work for a moving company as a prof. mover.
