Anyone know the slayer for kappa's? Neither reptile nor demon work. I asked death and he said he'd look but never got back to me, and I figured if someone else knows I might save him the effort of looking it up. Unless it's supposed to be reptile or demon O.o

I was going to check that and add it to the slayer group but time did not permit.

Kappas don't have a slayer weakness.

Stratics (and maybe OSI too) dropped the ball on updating slayers on mobs past SE. Anyone with an OSI account that can check? Anyone here with an OSI account at all?

We've decided to make it vulnerable to demon slayer even though through research, no slayer vulnerability was discovered (So bonus for people with slayers). Reason being is kappas are water demons from japanese folklore so in order to follow up to their name and origins, they will be demon slayer and NOT reptile slayer (You can check wikipedia or any other source about kappas. They have interesting folklore).

That was the point I was making ingame on why I asked, because Ai knew in myth they were demons that take the form of a turtle more often than not, so in a way it would make sense for them to be demon, and in another it makes sense for them to be demon. But whether OSI had a slayer vuln, it doesn't make sense for them to not have a slayer weakness.

Glad to hear that that is one more thing we have up on most shards (and maybe OSI). It's all the little discrepencies that add up and make a huge difference to overall play.

It wasn't like a huge deal, and i was aware that your time was limited before Death, wasn't trying to rush you or hassle ya or anything, was just seeing if anyone else knew the answer, and could therefor save soem time and effort, but squirrel (being the awesome hands own dev he is) popped it out pretty quick :)

Thank you

Another example of this is a Patchwork Skeleton. It would be logical to assume it is vulnerable to undead slayer, but stratics says "unknown" and it is not undead here. It was probably added to OSI right around the time they stopped caring about updating slayer vulns on mobs.

That's also why I decided demon was more appropraite then reptile slayer.

As for patchwork skeletons, they are pieces of skeletons and other deceased monsters sewn back up and thrown into battle again so undead would be a wise slayer for them (not that they really need a slayer, they're like 2 hits). Nevertheless, one can be added.

Yes, it will be in the new section unless we forget to mention it. Best way to test it out it use a demon slayer on it.
