Something wrong with UBWS bows?

I'm seeing this on my legendary archer. I have a UBWS composite bow that misses like mad (I'm talking like 10 in a row sometimes), but when I equip another without UBWS I hit almost every hit on the same mobs. I'm not sure if this affects only bows or other weaps too.

You're using a UBWS bow when you have legendary archery? If so, that's likely true because UBWS does not count archery so whatever's your highest melee skill under archery (Mace, swords, fencing) that number will be applied to your UBWS instead of your archery. That would explain why you're missing so much.

Er... ok that makes sense. But that means that all UBWS bows are unusable by archers without a melee skill. Is that right?

Yup that's about right. Question is, why would you use a UBWS bow on an archer with legendary anyways? We can probably override that for archery weapons as they are special cases (UBWS bows are uncommon).

Because I got this really nice undead slayer bow, but it also just happens to have UBWS. I would appreciate if you could make that exception for archery with bows.

Cause bows aren't supposed to have UBWS, duh.

Yeah thats basically it. They don't spawn that way anymore but there are some that exist, and there is an arty.

But in the weapon code it was not intended to, so never took it into consideration, what it does is it checks for that property, if it has it, it takes precedence over the actual skill.

Um your december elves spawned a few UBWS bows just FYI, i think I still have 1 or 2. most were trash tho.
