Same can be said for a heck of a lot of rock out there. Far as Tenacious D goes, the music is only somewhat interesting and the lyrics... well, I guess I just don't find them very amusing. If you want to a hear excellent rock music with a good deal of subtle humor then check out the Pixies.

I just like tenacious D because It's so spontaneous. He just says stuff and makes weird sound effects whenever. I'll check out your band though

Glad you didn't take offense at my post. When it comes to bands, some people can take less-than-positive comments too personally. Not getting pissed off shows a secure individuality that doesn't need affirmation from others that the bands you like are okay to like. Guess I'm just amused by certain, little things.

The problem with most music is artist are paid to be talented they are paid to be one hit wonders to make fast sales. Thus why I like mostly older rap and old grunge rock.

Touche! There is a world of great music out there that isn't all over MTV or the various Top 40 and so-called 'alternative' stations.

There is, I totally agree you just cant go to best buy/walmart and find them most lables now arnt worried about the artist developing talent and a style they want is fast hits to show big profits on there quarterly reports. Thus 90% of all music today is cookie cutter crap and about 10% is good talened music, Thus why I dont listen to much new stuff.

I have no reason to me mad at you. You like your kind of music I like mine. we all have different personalities and I respect that fact. If someone gets pissy about someone not likeing the music they like they need to get a life. haha.
