Well to be honest this is the second version of The Anything Forums. They had this forum going before with way more members and posts a long time ago but restarted from scratch just to clean it up. So your forum doesn't have much of a chance to compete with this one, not that anyone is competing anyway. Like I said, some of the members in here with thousands of posts had thousands before but then had to start from zero again when they scratched the old forum.
Your forum looks nice though. I might have to jump into some conversations.

We're just a bunch of lads from Watford (England) so most of the discussion is about footie (or "soccer" as you yanks call it), and our school.

Though if one of you lot signed up I'd love to debate politics and sport and stuff.

Heck yes, I wouldn't leave home without it. I use it at my forum too but my forum is also an Invision forum. (The Community) I like them better than the phpbb, although they are nice forums.

umm, no lol. i just love to play it. watching it is boring, unless your watching your friends play it, then its funny. i had to play it with this group of people one year for a youth group thing, and my friend told me she heard the goalie from the other team say "i cant believe that short, skinny thing got it past me" or sumthin like that, it was years ago, but i still remember it cuz it was so funny, and the leader was all like "be as agressive as you were playing soccer" when we went to play the other games like volleyball and football, i was just like uhhhhh... ok? ...weirdo

I might as well tell you this now: Walk into a pub in england and say "soccer" and you'll have the sh*t kciked out of you within seconds. "Soccer" is football. the weird game you play with the massive shoulder pads is "american football".

Sorry for the outburst, it's a subject close to my heart...

What is with the shoulder pads anyway?

Here in britain we play rugby, almost identical to American Footie, but probably more violent. And no shoulder pads for us.

Ummm, with football they "tackle" with piles of grown 300-400 pound men. You don't usually see 400 pound black men in Rugby. Although what I've seen of Rugby it is as violent as hell.

Here in Canada we shoot hard as a rock pucks at each other's faces.

You obviously haven't seen a scrum with 20 overweight and probably drunk Welshmen trying to crush each other to death in pursuit of a rugby ball.
