Just a thought... But wouldn't it make the place a bit... Fresher, if you just merged all threads before they were last posted in 2005, into the WLT?

. That would be so funny seeing the counter go from 6,000 to like 34,000

But now it would actually be the WLT! Hey, we can be the wormhole pit of forums, taking over 1 forum at a time and all the topics go in the pit of no return aka the WLT. I can buy out random forums, merge them with AF, then there would be too many categories, so I start merging some, then slowly merge all the topics into the WLT! Muhahahahahaha!

I'll get an apraisal on ytmnd forums. First I'd ban everyone, transfer it over here, and probably with a forum like that I'd just merge it right away and not waste any time. Hmm what other forum can I buy out?

Hahahahahaha I just had a funny idea. I should write a bot that goes through random forums and just copies all the posts here but under the bot's user account. So we'd have random threads made by this bot with actual posts that other people make on other forums. But the replies would be all mixed so the threads would make no sense at all.

Another thing to play with in my test environment.

That would be crazy!

No-one would be able to follow what was going on. We'd all be posting and the bot would post something completely random. Hahahahaha, it would make members like 0 even more wound up with all the off-topicness.

haha. Yeah I'd most likely make it so it does not post in other people's topics. But if I could make an AI bot I could make it reply to random topics, that could be fun too.

OMG if I set no delay I just make it go wild and reply to each topic as fast as the connection allows it. Send a few of those bots on enemy forums. Man that would be funny.

Probably like 5, but there would be overhead as it has to read the topic, parse it, find the last post, process the post in the AI engine and formulate a reply, then connect and post. So it would probably be like 2-3 posts per second on a DSL line. On a 100mbps lan, wow, we'd be looking at quite allot and the bot would run off the server, and the test http server is on that same machine, so it would be a local connection. ... I so got to do this some time!

I'd post screenshots definatly. But I'd keep everyone posted on the bot's progress while I code it. I'd start with a dumbbot with no AI engine, and once it works like I want I'd try to find an AI engine that can easly be implimented in the code.
