Was it Sasquatch? DNA test will tell

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - The debate over the existence of Sasquatch, a k a Bigfoot, an ape-like creature said to haunt the wilderness of western Canada, among other places, has entered the world of modern DNA testing.

A laboratory will test hair samples that several residents of Teslin, Yukon, say were left when the large, but so-far mythological creature made a late-night run through their community in early July.

It's a bison.

A hair sample that some claimed belonged to a sasquatch in the Yukon is actually the fur of the large mammal.

David Coltman, an University of Alberta geneticist who did a DNA test on a hair sample, confirmed that it was 100-per-cent bison.

"We compared it to human samples and bison samples that we had here on hand," said Dr. Coltman.

He said the DNA sample was not fresh.

During the procedure, follicles were separated from about 10 hairs and a standard DNA extraction was conducted. Copies of the genes were created and a DNA sequence was developed, which matched the genetic code of bison.

It's the last fight in 'Way of the Dragon', arguably bruce lees best film. It's totally awesome, it's a fight to the death, one of the best i've ever seen.

i just gained a little more respect for ol' chuck. after watching some walker texas ranger, and the clips of it on conan, and then his cameo on dodgeball i lost most all of my respect for him.
