new daylight savings time...WTF?

The U.S. is or is thinking about extending daylight savings time two months. that means canada and us times will be different for two months...again, WTF?

Weird... I say we screw daylight saving time completely. Do you know how much of a pain it is for server admins?! AHHHHH.

Daylight saving time is so 1944, time to scrap it!

I think that the US tries to fix something that isn't broken. Daylight saving time works fine so the goverment shouldn't change it.

true! why not spend time giving hobos jobs, or fixing western new york's financial problems? it's messed-up

I quite like DST actually. After the clocks change its amazing the stretch in the evening you feel.

DST is a good thing, i don't see why it needs to be changed though, i don't think they'll be helping the farmers much more, and the government should have more important things to worry about.

Daying-saving time will start three weeks earlier and end one week later in 2007. Canada could follow.

DST is a PIA as a server administrator. It screws up logging time stamps, and causes other issues like that.

That's why you get rid of it, less confusion. So you don't have to worry about forgetting and ending up being late or early.

LOL that reminds me, it's happened to people where they got to my church an hour late and were wondering why people were leaving.
