I have a german shorthair, she's for pointing at birds and stuff, only the ADHD won't allow for that, she's gotta chase them after pointing for a second.

Training her never worked, and the hyperactivity makes walks no fun.

does your dog actually round sheep like it's supposed to

My dog is supposed to point birds then flush them out on my command (for hunting pheasants) but like i said, i can't get her to sit still for a second

I have 2 beagles. I have never hunted them but the instinct is incredible. One of them will sniff, howl and rub his face to the ground for hours till his lips are red and sometimes bloody from rubbing on the grass. crazy.

he's 4 mo., so not yet...but he looks like he rounds up the kids in the backyard

sniffing, tracking, looking for something. He'll do it for hours.
