i'd get a knife, that way i can scare a native into being my friend.
I would dress him in orange shorts i made from cutting flower petals and glueing them to his legs and call him "David Hasselhoff."
I would then in turn use my manliness aquired from me thinking i'm so awesome because i have a knife to squeeze water from rocks and then i would eat them, because all matter is made of the same protons, neutrons, and electrons anyway right?? I would use some coconuts to make a coconut PSP like the professor did with the radio on Gilligan's Island.

So if i have all that i wouldn't worry why i was on the island, I got a knife, a friend, David Hasselhoff will save me from any sharks, i wouldn't be hungry, and i would have video games.

I would take food and water, so's I could have something to eat while I sharpened up a stone to make me a nice knife, scare a native with it to make a friend, make a coconut PSP, kill David Hasselhoff, etc.

I chose food and water. Finding fresh water would be my first concern, and I don’t know if the island would have it.

I'd bring a knife so I can at least cut small branches and stuff to build some kind of shelter and get wood to attempt to start a fire without matches. I could also use it as a weapon if needed. As for food, I'd hope this island has trees and lot of berries. Pine trees are an excelent source of food when stranded. Not sure how good sap tastes like though. Maybe I'd just screw the whole idea and get back in my boat and go to town to get mcdonalds or something.
