theres been quite a bit of negative criticism in the media in the uk regarding the line up of todays live 8 and the assumed selfish reasons that the artists would have to perform.
Whats everyone's opinion on this?

Honestly, whatever reason the artists perform is irrelavent. If some do it for gift bags then let them. Others do it because they care. Any impact that all those singers have is surely a good thing. It was all about raising awareness, and they have done that.
Also the concert in Hyde park was pretty good. The crowd looked bit like cardboard until Robbie got his greasy mits on them and they really got into it . From Angels onwards it was a fantastic show.
Pink Floyd really stole the show. Closly followed by The Who.
