lag issue

The lag issue is not gone, it just fluctuates a lot. One hour can be good, next can be ridiculously laggy. I'll be running some ethereal sessions and doing other troubleshooting tasks at the network level, I have a feeling we have a packet drop issue that's causing this.

It's Brunus eating too much carrot cake that's causing the packet loss

I think we got some ethernet aggro going on. Or maybe it's Cisco aggro.
