the way women stretch the lower part of their part of their face down with their mouth open when applying mascara or dabbing away tears. Is it some kind of natural reflex or something???? Because I think it's something you don't *have* to do or could avoid doing... cos i sure don't do and wouln't unless i'd consciously "decide" to.  It makes me wonder if women saw other women doing that and thought it was cool looking so they decided to do it too.
Opening the mouth actually does serve a purpose. It pulls the cheek away from the eye a bit, making mascara application a little easier. Raising the eyebrows is also helpful.

Do you not wear makeup? If you don't, I think that's really cool. Due to the nature of the work I do, my female colleagues aren't allowed to wear makeup. I really like this because you can see what a person really looks like. However, makeup does have its place.

No i do not wear make up, i have never bought any make up and i have never worn any. I am fortunate enough to have a good complexion and am often considered to be younger than what i am (31) - maybe the fact i have never painted my face gives me a more youthful appearance?
Its so refreshing to hear men say that its cool not to wear make up. Where i live everyone has orange faces & i am in an ever decreasing minority.
