I don’t recall saying anything was wrong.

(Is the board inserting words on your end too? I swear I saw “tripod” and “two shots” somewhere in this thread.)

yes you saw correctly. Before the edit there was (of course there was that tripod and two different shots) at the end

We had an exchange student from Belgium. Everyone called her “the French girl” and pronounced the terminating X in her name. I do hope Tennessee wasn’t her only exposure to the United States.

That's an awesome picture, it definitely made me look twice. I noticed the shadow in the mirror is correct though. Isn't it?

thank you very much, I wanted to do a fresh take of my 'vampire shot' from 2004 posted earlier with my improved working knowledge of the GIMP ('hopless noob' to 'barely adequate'). Not that that it was difficult to combine shots though.
hopefully it looks good and mostly matches, I used a tripod (remarkably difficult to capture the exact same area when your 1 year old assistant sees the fun toy actually deployed and just *has* to move it

) and made sure as best I could the feet placement & flash matched.

I feel old just seeing these pictures. Of course the snapping and creaking joints along with the few white hairs my wife points out may help with that too.
