Heh, since the gnome hairstyles are all pretty bad, i just went completely bald. I have some pretty funny equipment, tuxedos, diving helmets, etc:

Most classes wouldn't be able to manage it, but warlocks can last a LONG time in fights. When i'm in a group, i'm always the last one standing when we get wiped out.

You should see me now. I have a rocket helmet, a helmet with a kind of hypnotic twirling disc on top, i've got rocket boots, a pet robot, a shrink ray, a death ray, a robotic chicken, a mechanical dragon, a net projector, and a bunch of explosives. I have one pair of goggles that has torch-beams coming out of each lens, they look crazy.

I'm on a pvp server, and whenever i see a low level Orc or Tauren, i shrink them so that they're smaller than me, rather than just killing them. If they attack me, I used my mind control helmet on them, and force them to go attack some random nearby enemy.

Engineering is hilarious in that game.

Sounds like it. People I know keep bugging me to play, and I would, if it wasn't for the time MMO's take to get the character leveled up to be worth anything.

The thing about WoW is that it's fun at all levels. PVP is playable at any level, professions are easy to get into, and it's pretty engrossing. You should at least give it a try.

One of my friends in college wants to get me into WoW once we start back college. It's a great game and all from what I heard but don't know if I want to get addicted to another online rpg... I'll need dual monitors so I can macro UO on one and play WoW on the other. LOL

Really? I heard guild wars was pretty cool, but I have not tried it. I heard it's more linear though. Online prgs have to be non linear to be really fun and last. I think that's why UO is successful. Heck, they're working on a new expansion pack for it. You'd think a game that old would have died, but because of the game play it's still popular dispite the 256color graphics.

It sucks i've played it. Best thing about it is you can dance around like fools like hours without moving for fingers an inch.

i think it has tons of grind. all the missions are go here, talk to this dude. go back, you'll probably have to kill something along the way. there isn't much that isn't generic about the characters and moves they have.

Dude, you have MXO? Now that it's 20 bucks, I'm looking at picking it up. Only think holding me back was how chuggy it was on my 512mb of ram system during the beta. Did it get any better, performance-wise?
