Hospital stay

Post by Bookworm »

My 9-year-old daughter is spending tonight at the hospital for observation. She was complaining this morning of a sore throat, and then she started saying she felt her throat was getting narrower. We took her to the clinic, and her blood oxygen level was lower than it should be, but they don't know for sure if it's something serious. They gave her antibiotics, so that should work if it was an infection.

Hopefully it isn’t anything too serious, and hopefully she’ll get better soon! :)

I had similar things like that happen to me when I was a kid...and they came to find out I was asthmatic.

Hope she feels better!

I'm not adopted and I'm not an Indian.

My daughter finally got home around 2:00 today. They still don't know what exactly it was, but it wasn't the serious thing that they were keeping her overnight to watch for. She must not have gotten much sleep last night because she's been sleeping for the last three hours. She did think the hospital bed was pretty cool.

Maybe it was an alergic reaction or something. But I guess they would of been able to tell. Glad to hear everything is ok now though, hopefully it won't happen again.
