I think the color yellow is the best color in the whole world. It is bright and cheery and practically perfect. Anyone who doesn't think yellow is the best is just plain wrong. Especially if they like green. Yuck! Who can stand green?

Colors don't really exist. We only see colors because certain objects bounce different parts of the light spectrum and make it apear a certain color.

That's a freaky thought though.... but it's true.

The objects are real, the light spectrum being bounced is real, my brain cells interpreting the bounce are real, therefore the color yellow is real. Don't disillusion me!

Yes, but when you wear a yellow shirt, that shirt is every color but yellow. Yellow is reflected and your eyes see it, while all the other wavelengths are absorbed. Think about that for a while, and think about what color the thread really is then...
