Where would you travel?

Post by Bookworm »

If you won a free trip to anywhere in the world, where would you go? I would like to see New Zealand. The only countries I have been in outside of the United States are Canada, Mexico, and Israel.

yo mama's! :P

seriously, if it was a free trip to one place/country, i'd have to say, at the moment, that japan would be at the top of my list as i've never been there before and the culture is very interesting to me, albeit, a superficial interest as it's an interest bourne out of anime.

if it was a free trip to multiple places like a tour or something, i'd do a complete trip through europe.

I'd like to visit anywhere in the states. Probably New York or something but I don't really have a specific place in mind. Edminton would be cool too, but I'd want to have a shoping spree, man that mall is huge. Thing is, there's probably like 2 computer stores in it. LOL

So I'll stick with New York. Or even washington would be pretty cool, I could visit the pentagon for a tour and stuff. (they actually give tours - I'm sure security must be high!)

Has anyone watched the show The Amazing Race? I would love to travel to all the places they visit, but my nerves wouldn't be able to handle the race part of it.

Even retarded shows can be mildly interesting sometimes.

Funny, since most 'American Reality Shows' originated in Europe. But it can't be "Reality Shows" are retarded now can it, only American ones...

actually some of the concepts in them are pretty cool, but I think the thing is they only work out once in a while, if they keep doing another version it gets boring.

As for the question: I have been to Washington DC, Ashville NC, Las Vegas NV, Jamaca, Grand Caymans, and Cozumel. I would really like to make it to California in the next 2 years, and Europe is on the top of my list to visit in the Eastern Hemisphere, particullarly Western Europe (UK, France, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, etc...) I'd like to visit Tokyo at some point, as well as make it to HK and Australia.

If I won a free trip, my first choice would be Italy or France.

I completely forgot: Russia

I have always been fasinated with Russia, and it has a rich and interesting culture with many unique characteristics. I want to visit Moscow and Kiev in about 10 or so years when things settle down a bit and the beautiful culture of the late 1800/early 1900's can shine through.

For a Fantasy trip I’d go to Italy. But realistically, Florida.

Another cool place I'd like to go is Peawanuk. It's a reserve and all, but it just seems like a cool place. I'd just bring my own food since suposely silly thinks like a loaf of bread are like 5-10 bucks. Not even sure if they have roads there I think it's just snow.
