You know, I'm sure that's funny and all, but my compy doesn't have the required codec to play that icky wmv. and I don't feel like installing winbloat media fiend 9 quite yet, unless you can direct me to another means of getting it.

Winamp can play this with a plugin too
EDIT: Of course, my winamp is 2.0, so maybe the newer version of it can play it without a plugin

Either I didn't install that option, or winamp5 is like every other windows based vid player, relying on WMP codecs or engine to get the job done. But no worries. I'll just skip it for now, and then one day some video clip or trailer or anime or something will be released that I need to see that's an icky wmv and I'll have to thusly install WMP9, though with much malice towards it, and then hide all traces of it from my desktop, startmenu, file associations, context menus, and what not, while, other, better applications, thusly use the codecs it thusly installed, thusly.

At least this thread is looking less lonely now
